Roofbox combination that makes the RS6 less than 1.85m high

Does anybody have one?

I’m hoping I can get a roofbox and bars combination that makes the RS6 less than 1.85m in height to fit onto a double decker carriage on Eurotunnel.

The lowest height combination I can find is;

The car at 1.48m high plus 0.35m for the Thule Dynamic L roofbox and a further 0.08m (est.) for the Thule Wingbar roofbars making a total of 1.91m.

If my calculation for the roofbar height is correct, then I’m after a roofbox that is 29cm in height.

Anybody got any ideas?

Why do you need to fit in the double deck section? I choose to go in the wider single decker carriage. There’s no extra cost.

Ditto - had a Moth on the roof. Eurotunnel just needed to know which carriage to allocate us to.

I want to remain in the convoy that I’m in on the day; and I would prefer a very low slung box.

Not that it is a problem to use the overheight lane / carriage either.

There’s no guarantee that you won’t be split up and it’s not as though you can’t rendezvous on the other side.

It’s tight in an RS6, I’d far rather avoid kerbage!

Agreed - barely any width for the 6 on the double decker carriages, especially if you value your rims. Go high all day long and meet up on exit.

£3170 for the carbon version or £950 for it in plastic! They do look good though.
