Remus Exhaust

Post by DaveBee » Fri Sep 21, 2018 9:05 am

As much as I would like an Akrapovic, I can't justify the expense at the moment and having had retirement forced on me due to the big C, possibly never :)

I know many go for Miltek but I wondered if anyone had any experience of the Remus cat back system as it's the same price, possibly a little cheaper than the Miltek.

I always rated the Remus exhausts on my motorcycles and they seem good on paper and YouTube but I'd be interested in a real world opinion.

Many thanks,
David

If you are going for a cat back ie just noise not power, then have you considered just modifying your standard exhaust for a couple of hundred quid and it sounds similar to the milltek.

How would you modify the standard exhaust, other than just internal valves?

I assume you mean by removing the mid silencer? If that's the right expression.

I don't want to spoil the cars ability to cruise along almost silently, but yes would like a bit more 'crackle' and 'pop' when in loud mode. Perhaps I can't have both?

Thanks
David
