I have the 5 year Audi waranty due to expire before the year end, so it's about to go to a friendly master tech for an end of warranty check!

Are you going to extend the warranty Dave when it runs out as mine is due to expire next month. But I’m in two minds whether to sell or keep and extend.
Have you guys got quotes for what it costs to extend the Audi Warranty on the RS6 once the manufactuers warranty expires?

I got one a week a go and think it was around £1300 (that was full component) for the year maybe more I can’t remember if I’m honest. I know if u go for no excess then it gets more expensive.

Any chance you can go onto the online extended warranty site and post up the costs for the warranty extension with the 3 different excesses plse? Are you above or below 60k miles?

Nice one :beerchug:

If the system lets you, could you also put up the warranty extension prices with the 3 excesses if you were below 60k miles?

Sorry OP for going slightly off topic

In all seriously, you want a decent spec the C7 isn't really loaded with gadgets even when spec'ed up! I just got a new 4x4 VW for the Mrs and its mental what it's got :boohoo:

So I’ve decided to pass on this specific RS6 after putting a deposit down I’ve had a rethink, Main reason is the mileage, also the fact the new C8 will be arriving early next year is sure to push the price of the C7 down slightly hopefully meaning it’ll put the lower mileage examples into my price range, which at the minute are 3-4K too much for me.
Also the dealer has hiked the price up on this one based on the special order paint and also the upgraded B&O sound system, something I’m not really bothered about.
I’ll bide my time and see what the new year brings. Thanks for all the comments

There will be no C8 RS6 early next year, you’re probably looking March 2020

No chance is the C8 out early next year the dealers are still awaiting a 12 month heads up . Also it's going to be about 20% more money and speced up expect it's going to be around 120k + looking at similar situations I'd say that will hVe a very good impact on high spec desirable C7s .

Well the waiting until the new year didn’t happen.....Bought this today ImageImageImageImage
Happy I gave the previous high mileage example a swerve and managed to get a decent deal on this one. Plus I don’t think this one is poverty spec either Image

52,000 miles
Dynamic pack
Sports exhaust
Carbon mirrors
Pan roof
RS suspension
Led Headlights
Plus a few bits

I’ll be sad to see the B7 going, it’s been a brilliant car and never let me down in 3+ years of owning it, but they’re definitely starting to show there age now and I need something with Bluetooth enabled!
Pick it up in two weeks, can’t bloody wait....

Estoril blue. Check all of the plastics to ensure the paint matches. Check whether there has been any paint elsewhere. This colour was dropped due to horrific matching problems.....from the factory.
