Which Spacers?

Post by Anth » Wed Sep 05, 2018 9:59 pm

I know this has maybe been covered a few times so apologies . Getting a little mod itch, I try not to go there as my old OCD kicks in and that's 10k gone with the Mrs giving me the look .

Carbon mirrors are calling me but for now I'm thinking spacers, I've seen a few images was thinking 10mm may by just to much so 8mm ? Could some kind dude provide me the best place to obtain?

Thanks mate that's great . I've actually put on the classic 21" none PE wheel as personally Im not a fan of that wheel so Audi changed out on collection, also I have 2 friends with SQ7s that both have the same wheel and couldn't handle it as the full RS he has that wheel now, still really like the old style wheel think it suits the car better, personally.

When on 21s I had just 15mm rear as the front was so low I couldn't space it out at all.
With the 20s on which have 275 wide tyres, I ran 15mm rear again but squeezed 12mm on the front.
Now with my aftermarket 21s I run 15mm rear and 12mm front but could probably go the next step up on both.

When I measured up it seemed I could go 10mm front and 20mm rear on a 21”. That’s what I’ve ordered. Should have them on next week.

What's the max you can put on without going for hub centric?

You can put any size you like without going hubcentric. Just got more chance of wobble. If you mean what size do they start making them hub centric then normally the 5mm spacers are not hub centric but 8mm and above can be had as hub centric.
