Hi Johnny, I fitted a Porsche logo light to my Cayenne doors last year. I bought the lights from Amazon at about £10. Within 6 months or so the film which projects the logo had completely distorted. It looked like the logo had melted. Fingers crossed this doesnt happen to you, but make sure you keep the original lights just in case.

I was wondering last night how it’s projected, will keep an eye on this, Do you know if this is a common problem with them as if so I might just put originals back?

If I remember its a high powered LED which projects through a lens coated in film. The film and lens are tiny so that the floor projection is at the right resolution. I think the original Audi rings projection will stand the test of time a lot better than these bespoke logos etc. I got Porsche logos for my Cayenne as it originally only had standard bulb puddle lights with no logo. The RS6 has the rings as standard so I'm going to keep them. That said, we're only talking about £6 and 30 seconds to fit so no loss if they don't work out.

I don't think any RS6 came with this. Some more recent models do so it may be a genuine audi one from another model or just an aftermarket one.

First mod

Maybe the last run of rs6 did? Not sure if it being a performance edition makes any difference.

Mine was new factory order delivered in November last year so maybe they changed it towards the end?

Picture below on the eurotunnel coming back from France yesterday, not much else to take a picture of :)

I purchased these for a laugh and they don’t look half bad. Fitting took all of 2 minutes. Got them off eBay as I couldn’t be bothered for the 32 year wait on AliExpress.
