It's all speculation at the moment.

I've heard that the standard 2019 RS6 will have 605 and the performance model will have a 650 engine. They are using the 4.0 V8 still. However the 2019 S6 is set to get the 2.9 V6 I think which will upset the displacement nuts. Good question though, when will it come out? Hopefully not for ages as I've just bought my 2017 model!!!

Yeah lots of rumours about it having 600ps but still all rumours. Nothing been confirmed officially by Audi. Not even had RS7 confirmed yet. There is never any talk of performance models before we even have the model announced.
I have heard dealers have been offered a choice of low, medium and high spec demo cars already but without any details.

Still all rumours though. An Audi guy said ages ago that the RS7 will use the same engines as the panamera ie the 4.0 v8 for 600ps and a hybrid version and I think this will be the case.

The only issue I see with the hybrid is price. That’s going to be a 120-130k car without options.

Well, yes, that’s a given. Though the Panamera I drove had good steering feel to it though I didn’t push it. Audi will of course tune that toward understeer.

The target must be for business owners who put the car through the company. I guess there is a huge "save the polar bears" tax benefit for a hybrid.

Mmm, I don’t think that really features on a car at this price point. Whilst the CO2 is low, you’ll still pay a good chunk.

Prices have gone up on stock for a full spec RS6 like a lot have on here your looking at 120k
Best case end of 2019 but there's a Audi sales rumour that the S models are next year and we won't see a new RS6 until 20 . As said all just speculations .

Outside I like the new C7 better, personally . The interior! Wow , it's like when 911 997-2 changed out to the 991 cockpit . Looking forward to seeing it.

The end of 2020 for release would be ideal - give me plenty of time to save! The interior is pretty awesome looking, no buttons and all touch screen etc. However I bet (and hope) that someday good old buttons make a comeback, without sounding like a laggard. Remember the Nokia 3310, LP records - they're cool again!! :jump_clap:

The only bit that isn't speculation is that it will use the engine that is in the new Panamera. That engine was co-developed by Audi and Porsche so they would be a bit silly to fit the existing V8 with that new one sitting on the shelf.

Does that mean 0-60 and top speed etc will be the same? I guess the both weigh around the same at 1900kg....
