Oil level monitor - how to reset?!

Post by crashley » Thu Aug 16, 2018 6:58 pm

Oil level looked a touch low (in car monitor, it was just above min). I've added a little (race oil, as previous owner, no less)... How do you reset the monitor? It says something like 'oil level will show in approx 2mins and engine must be switched off' but when you switch off it says 'ignition must be switched on'.

I have used the car and got it up to temp etc etc but I'm still struggling.

Thanks!

To switch just the ignition on without the car starting all you do is press the start button without pressing your foot brake.

Ps. You don’t need to reset nothing if you’ve put enough oil in it will show.
