Service intervals

Post by johnny11 » Fri Aug 10, 2018 10:50 am

I understand these cars according to audi need servicing every 19k or 2 years. Does everyone here on top of this do an oil change every year?

I do short daily trips and tuned s6, so i do oil changes every 5000km....Rather running cleaner oil then collect sludge and get a dirty oil screen (and not providing enough oil too the turbos abd shoot them).

I have it serviced every year or 9000 miles.

I always over service my cars. It will probably take me 2-3 years to do the 19k miles you have quoted but in that time I will have had at least 3 oil changes and whatever inspection that will be due next.

I stick to the Audi schedule and don’t do any oil changes in between. I’ve done two major services and one interim in last 21 months.
