!! Paint bubble ?

Post by Anth » Tue Jul 31, 2018 10:47 pm

Ok ,

Little worried, car was in Audi today having some routine levels topped.. All washed and returned and this has appeared. I'm assuming this is a paint bubble, it's as its appears you can move it jus like a bubble under a decal etc.

Unless there's a real thin protective decal that I can't see ! .. Advise welcome cars a year old ! Performance Ed Nardo.

You sure it's not PPF? Looks like you have the factory PPF on the door above it so guessing the side skits haven't been wrapped without the doors getting done. I doubt you could move it around if it was an actual paint bubble.

Hi mike ,

I'm not 100% it's not PPF No, it makes sense looking at it, it's certaily not the thicker mm stuff on the door so maybe the skirt is a thin mm. There's no sign of any lips or edge of a PPF, it's happened today when w asking in Audi for sure . I'm meticulous and would have noticed within moments as we all our with our toys !

Try moving the bubble to an edge and out?

Yes seems to just work its way back to the original area . I've not tryed with a plastic wrap paddle I do have one somewhere to give it a go , just wanted to be sure it's not a paint defect first 😲
