Mines mounted on the same brackets I suspect as RS6chris.
I drilled smaller holes through the 3D (legal) CF lettering so for shows I can easily unscrew the plate. The screws are trapped between the plate and bracket so can't be lost. Looks so much cleaner without any sort of surround although it does mean there's more grill to keep clean.
