i'm curious to know how economy is affected under normal driving conditions with a map, do you still retain 4cyl mode?
Yes 4 cylinder mode is still available - I've seen it when slowing down :). I get 16 to 18 on a local shopping run and anywhere between 22 to 30 on a mw run depending on how I feel like driving. Thats with a remap that gave me 700HP, 1000NM torque and a remus exhaust that bumped both of those up a little. I don't regret it for one second.
Hi David,
I wondered if you were happy with the Remus. I’m keen on buying the cat back and think it’s sounds throaty.
Had an Akra on my B8 RS4 And was very happy with that.
Any feedback on Remus for the C7, hoping it’s not boomy/droney but videos never really tell ya. Appreciated

Sorry, haven't checked in for while. Very happy with the Remus. It can be a little droney but only when in comfort mode, D8, under labour. Knock it down to 7 or Sport Mode and all droneyness goes away. I did eliminate the front silencers and so this probably accounts for that. The noise is just right for me, it screams business and power without being a yob with an asbo if that makes sense :)

Thanks. You’ve helped steer me over the line. The Remus is the one. Many thanks

Got the Remus on. Full system from catback. Very happy, it’s definitely a deep note, not at all raspy. Very good quality and was a super easy fit.
The noise can keep you fairly low key at low slow revs but claps like thunder on high rev manual mode shifts.

My warranty will be up in October so considering mapping.

MRC clearly the place to go, probably goes against the grain but rather than push it to where problems can occur can you do a stage 0.5, ie low to mid 600’s rather than mid to high 600’s?
