Thanks Mike, if owners have found no issues or less issues with the standard air and having it doesn’t kill residuals then I wouldn’t rule a car out with it.

Don't think it's air that will kill residuals - lack of Pan Roof is the killer - plus, looking at the issues with DRC that owners are encountering, then having air is one less issue to think about.

Wasn't a deal breaker when I was looking - Pan,HUD and alcantara, were the 3 must haves

Pan roof would be an absolute must for me.

Interesting pan roof is the one thing, having had two I’m not arsed about. Never really used it, don’t miss the light and they always bloody squeak or rattle.

There has been a whole topic on whether to spec or not spec a pan. roof, so don't wish to re-open that debate. Had no squeaks or rattles from mine though. Relevantly, if I recall correctly, at the car's first full service the pan. roof had its own service/maintenance schedule performed.

I get some noise over rough parts of the M25 from the sunroof on my RS4 but it’s 11 years old.

I’m surprised owners are having rattles on these cars as they’re young.

I would take the chance and if obvious enough get Audi to sort under warranty(I wouldn’t buy one without it).
