4K revs got s huge bang emergency to pull over shift to P and turn off so I did obviously turn it back on car won’t move and just sounds like something is spinning no red warning lights of faults Audi specialist saying new box 12 bags it’s 2014 with 30k just out of warrenty anyone had any issues it’s mapped stage 2 but thinking deleting map and trying to get something out of Audi as 6 meant to be bulletproof to 800bhp

Out of interest, who did you tune the car with? Also (and hopefully you declared the full mods to your insurance) seeing as a new gearbox isn’t going to be cheap, would your insurance pay for this?

You will be fine. Audi met a 8K bill for rebuilding the front of my car when I hit a tree. I told them I thought their cars were "built of granite" and they coughed up. Had I known they were bulletproof too I might even have got a courtesy car.

My 1st RS4 B7 tomatoe was MRC Stage 2 mapped and the engine, 2 x clutches both EPROMs etc etc were replaced under Audi warranty no questions asked. I didn't tell them it was mapped but it did have a Milltek exhaust KW suspension etc etc. Make sure that the EPROM is completely removed of the map, your tuner should know how to do this and put latest Audi map on.

Things have moved on somewhat since B7 days. You cannot just remove. Plenty of threads elsewhere.
