Brake performance

I went for a bit of a spirited drive this afternoon, only 20 mins or so. I began to think the brake performance wasn't quite what I expected (previous was a B7 RS4).
The brakes would have been warm already, but I did 3 70-0 hard stops in succession. Brake pedal sank lower each time, and at no time did the APS look like it even needed to kick in (despite pressing as hard as I could). Afterwards the brake pedal was seriously soft (although the car would still stop). Dont't get me wrong - the stopping power was still face bendingly strong though!

I was just wondering what people's experience of hard braking were, and if this was normal?

Its a 2016 non-PE FL running MPSS on 21s, 22k on the clock, original discs and pads all round (plenty of life left).

You changed the brake fluid yet?

No. I’m sure that will make a big difference though.

I fitted Goodridge steel brake lines and uprated the brake pads and brake fluid at the same time. I don't think they were bled properly though so they felt much worse to start with and once the air made it's way out it was difficult to do a comparison due to the time difference.
