Yeah I’ve just looked at them now...

Stone chips? Huh?

I just want the wheels to sit a bit more flush, giving it a slightly wider stance...

Are you saying I’ll have to lower it as well as space it?
No I wasn't saying that; lowering is a personal preference, I think it looks much better but others think it looks fine without lowering.

But if you move the wheels further out you will be more prone to stone chips.

Ah ok with you... doesn’t the standard suspension drop a little when you put it in Dynamic mode? ...

I’m not against lowering it to be fair... but was just wanting to widen the stance before I have an alignemrnt done, that’s all

Glenn will sort you out
got the bolts and locking nut from him too you just need to pack out the locking bolt cover as the standard one is a little to big and will fall off otherwise

Only if you have the air suspension.

Hi mike I presume I do as it mentions air suspension in the MMI and I can raise the car if needed in the MMI etc?

You can also lower it further in the settings of the car with VCDS if you want, or buy a set of lowering links which also lower it.

You can also buy a module which lets you adjust the height on the fly from the MMI via an app in your phone.

Is there a handy guide for lowering in VCDS that’s been tried and tested? (C7.5 PE)

Don't think anyone knows the security code for facelift cars to do it with VCDS yet.

I’ve got a FL and the security code for the suspension is the same as non - FL.

The only code that isn’t able to be cracked is the ability to change the speed that the VIM kicks in, which is different.

Well, it was for mine anyway. I’ll have a look for the code.
