Spacers... where to source? Fitting?

Post by Singhaa88 » Sun Apr 15, 2018 9:38 am

Hey all....

Right, spacers - what’s everyone running? And where did you source them from? Never really done spacers before, I presume they are simple to fit? Just take the wheel off put them on the hub and then re-do the wheel up?

Appreciate your insights

Thanks

Yeah pretty much. I normally put a bit of copper grease on them to make them easier to remove later but not too much otherwise it flies everywhere and then burns and stinks when it gets hot.

Buy them from Virdee on here.

I’m thinking the same, what size are you thinking of going for?

Will you lower the car as well?

Don’t really know what size to go, was hoping to get some guidance and photos of people who have added them so I can gauge roughly how far to go so to speak

Do a search, been discussed a load of times already with photos. Depends which wheels / tyres you have and how low you are.

Then it depends on how much you want the wheels to stick out and how many stone chips you want to collect. Have you looked at the photos on the other 2 threads for examples of different widths?

Yeah I’ve just looked at them now...

Stone chips? Huh?

I just want the wheels to sit a bit more flush, giving it a slightly wider stance...

Are you saying I’ll have to lower it as well as space it?
