I don't know him and have nothing in this other than seeing the way he has abused the car. It's a (very) long time since I was at university and when I was, I was one of the fortunate ones to actually have a car, albeit at 15+ year old shed of a car.

The previous car I saw with this plate on it was a Range Rover, not really the normal sort of car that would appeal to a 18-20 yo student.

I have to admit when I was a youngster I was stupid enough to buy a car I couldn't really afford on finance. After spending some sleepless nights working out how to pay for it I bit the bullet, got rid of it and now just end up buying cars with whatever pound notes I can find stuffed down the back of the sofa. Although I suspect this kid has some money behind him so he won't have lost any sleep, I just hope no one over pays for something that sounds like it's been treated badly.

Best keep an eye on this one. I don’t see a private sale being too easy - so if it ends up going to a trader, superficial bits tidied up, and then readvertised as “one careful owner” in a shiny showroom: watch out!
