Anybody with the Akrapovic exhaust had any issues with warranty with Audi at all?

You take a risk with anything aftermarket i’m afraid, including Akrapovic.

That said, if you have a great relationship with dealer, it can help.

Has your car already been flagged TD1? (Lots of info on google about this) If so, then you will need to return to stock to get anything from them I’m afraid.

Might be worth trying a specialist like MRC or Unit20 to find out whats going on and fix it. Just keep the dealer for servicing stamps imo.

No issues as yet, however I'm just having it 'health checked' by Audi as we speak. I was just looking to see what those with the RS6 and the Akrapovic exhaust had experienced with regards to warranty, particularly as the Nogaro edition comes with the Akra and the exhaust can be ordered through Audi in the UK for fitment by them. There is separate warranty on the exhaust but I just wanted to ensure that those with had no issues with the rest of the car regards warranty.

It’s hard to expect they’d have a leg to stand on since they sell the Akra as you say. Any exhaust mods shouldn’t affect warranty on any other system on the car anyway, even if the dealer tries to tell you ‘HQ won’t cover it’ due to the mod.

Fortunately there was no issues with the exhaust and warranty. However, in anticipation of a fight I did do a configuration of the car with the Akrapovic exhaust included via the Audi Germany website and pdf'd ready to put under their noses if there were any issues!

All you needed to do was slam it on the desk and demand to know if they ordered the code red, and you’d be Tom Cruise mate.

I agree that it shouldn't affect warranty but just because Audi AG sell it, that doesn't mean that Audi UK have to honor it.
