Gearbox question - standard or performance

Post by Bushy » Sun Feb 11, 2018 2:08 am

Does anyone know if the RS6 performance has the ability to change down multiple gears by holding the paddle shift like an R8 or the new RS4?

I hate the slow changing on the standard RS

I thought the old RS4 could as it was a double clutch type gearbox. The new RS4 is an automatic and has the same gearbox as the RS6.

Both identical ZF8 gearboxes in 6 and new 4 - although software may be different in RS4.
