I was in exactly the same position with bmw and my m5 and after much debate they eventually sent me an email stating and confirming that if I touched the car in any way, then my whole warranty would be invalidated. Let’s not forget , the extended warranty is not administered via Audi directly, it’s a third party insurance company and like any insurance company they will take any opportunity to NOT pay out

Ah this is interesting as my car still has manufacturers warranty maybe that’s why Audi said what they did when I posed the question?

As I've said before, the akra carbon weave doesn't match the oem carbon diffuser. Shame.

I don’t have a carbon diffuser so it will look great just not prepared to pay their ridiculous price

Re the warranty I wouldn’t overly worry an exhaust is very unlikely to cause any major warranty problems.

You know you can buy the standard exhaust tailpipes skinned in carbon? Obviously looks very different but if that's the bit you like you can get that.

What happens if you own an akra and had an accident that damaged the tailpipe trim? Would they not sell you a new set of trims? Might be worth asking their spares department.

Akra tips ruins all design, in other words looks horrible, for OP if you choose Miltek go for non resonated version, worth any penny, as concerning sound Miltek vs akrapovic, actually akra sounds very weak compared to Miltek

Agreed on the akra tips, not a fan at all. Milltek for me, may just risk it with the warranty or mod the valves so theyre always open. Cheers all.

Any exhaust won’t void any warranty, it’s just an exhaust

You could get the MTM remote control for the valves - open and close from fob. I did and I’m glad that I have the choice when I wish to have them open or closed.
