Hmmm, covered by warranty is a win. But who is quoting 700ps? If ABT then its probably closer to 605ps.
The quoted 880NM is just a bit less than my car has as standard on a dyno so I wonder if this is actual NM or the generous Audi version and it is really 950NM +.
And how is the 0-62 still the same?
Nice idea though and shame we won't get any in the UK.

It's probably cheaper to go to MRC and get a decent remap and buy a spare engine.

I appreciate that but you haven’t answered my question. If I was to take my car to Richter the UK dealer for ABT could Audi turn down a warranty claim if the engine went bang? Just interested to know how they would view it as it would be the same map as fitted to the Nogaro Edition

NE not available in the UK through Audi UK, so there’s your answer. Yes, it will invalidate the warranty.

My opinion of the warranty issue is this, if we go and remap the Audi engine we are messing with the Audi product so then the warranty is void. Abt don't do this, they use a secondary box to adjust the data to the base system. they also have TUV approval so it is a legitimate accessory so not voiding the warranty. But because they have gone down this route they charge a lot more. I got a quote recently for new Abt exhaust, cats back, and the engine control to give 700HP & 880Nm - £8420 +VAT, similar sort of money to an Akro exhaust and a remap. However far too much compared to a miltek.

The question is what should you do

TUV is about quality. It doesn’t make something warrantable.

Audi cannot warrant something they didn’t supply.

The question is what should you do

ABT tuning box will invalidate your warranty. TUV approval doesn't make it an official Audi accessory. This is why ABT give a limited warranty with their engine tuning on cars up to 2 years old. And they don't offer this warranty in the UK.
It is quite simple, mess with the engine (whether remap or tuning box) and potentially lose your Audi warranty.
