DRC replaced

Put the car in for a service and to resolve knocking front suspension...the dealer replaced all 4 shocks as an uprated version is available....

Did they give any idea when the new shocks were introduced at the factory? Or what is uprated?

Been available for 18 months now. Had mine done last year after waiting for factory to release them (I had an issue with knocking from new). One world of caution, if they have been knocking a long time and / or leaking both DRC valves may need redoing too. Don't ask me how I know. Good news is car has now been silent for 10,000 miles. Result

It’s pretty embarrassing for Audi now that after this many years they still haven’t sorted DRC issues!!

Albeit not as often as original systems.
