Hi does anyone know how to get the mirrors to unlock using the keyfob with a carista or OBD ElEven adaptor.
It does fold upon locking

They don't unfold until you turn on the ignition.

I imagine it was deigned this way to stop the mirrors folding and unfolding everyone you unlock the car to get a bag out etc. Ie they fold when you press the lock button but stay folded until you start the car (or turn the ignition on).

Not that I know of. Why do you want that to happen? It also means it is easier to get into a car in a narrow car park if they stay folded until you try to start the car. I find this annoying when I remote start my car and they unfold then I struggle to get past the mirror.

Not that I know of. Why do you want that to happen? It also means it is easier to get into a car in a narrow car park if they stay folded until you try to start the car. I find this annoying when I remote start my car and they unfold then I struggle to get past the mirror.

I'm not really fussed to be honest I just wanted the option to be able to change the settings

There's a lot of unlabelled settings on VCDS so potentially the option is there.
