"Mobile still connected" reminder
I saw on a recent RS6 review that it reminded him that he hadn't removed his phone from the arm rest when the ignition was turned off and the drivers door was opened... I need this! Always forgetting my phone.
Anyone else seen this? Is it an update, or specific module dependant like Audi Connect?

Why don't you keep the phone in your pocket?

Because I like to use Apple Car Play, think this only works works on the USB?
Re: "Mobile still connected" reminder
Oh I see. I don't like using my phone for in car entertainment, I store all my music on hard drives in the car and use the built in Sat nav with Google maps and Google search.
I'd imagine that the connection reminder is part of the Audi Phone Box option. Do you have that?

I have Audi connect and the centre phone holder (well flat piece of rubbber mat). Always leaving my phone behind but can’t see an option for this.

It might be configurable somewhere in the VAG software. Our 'Shopping/Nursery' Golf (MK7) does it, and the phone doesn't even have to be plugged in. As long as the phone is connected via BT when the ignition gets turned off, the "Don't forget your mobile device" message appears on the screen.

Likewise & is surprising just how handy this feature is as i keep mine in the cubby hole under the dash (Golf R, not RS6).kmpowell wrote: ↑Mon Oct 30, 2017 8:50 amIt might be configurable somewhere in the VAG software.
