I am sure we are all enjoying the current cars, but when is the new one due?

Being told late 2018, early 2019.....is this correct?

C8 should appear next year, who knows when the RS6 will appear....18 months after at a guess.

I'm getting déjà vu from another thread about this but basically if the previous generation is anything to go by - the A6 C7 launched early 2011, the RS6 variant was on the early purchaser's drives during the summer of 2013 some 2.5 years later (it was revealed in December 2012). On that basis we are looking at (perhaps) summer of 2020. Obviously they might accelerate the launch of the RS6 because of competing products like the Panamera Turbo S Hybrid, the Tesla and so on.
