Opening of its own accord?

I'm back with another issue now.
I came home from the school run today, locked the car as I always do and put the keys on the kitchen worktop. It was rainy quite hard so there were no windows open on the car and I certainly hadn't opened the sun roof.
Half an hour later I come out to find the car fully open, all windows down and the sunroof open. P!ss wet inside too.
Anyone else experienced this before?
I live in an old house, 2ft thick walls and the kitchen is at the back, no way it had anything to do with the keys.
I have noticed when washing the car that the central locking will open and shut. Only set of keys, the others are in a safe. Private drive, middle of nowhere, not a chance someone came onto the drive, dogs out etc.

When you hold down the unlock button it does that or you've maybe got a faulty key

In the old days you would use the key in a door, twist and hold in the unlock position. This would result in the doors opening, then the windows going down and possibly the sunroof opening. I was not rich enough to have a sunroof in the old days. If this function still exists (whack the key in and try it) then you may have a faulty connection or water leak causing it. Given your description it sounds like water may be involved. Spray the door handles and see what happens.

Could be a key going faulty. Whip the batteries out of the keys so there is no possibility of them transmitting to eliminate this one.

May be worth a try, only things I can think of.
