Which one would you guys get the race chip ultimate (
https://www.racechip.co.uk/shop/audi/rs ... 700nm.html) or the goapr chip (
http://www.goapr.co.uk/products/ecu_upg ... s6rs7.html)
has anyone had any past experiences with any of these two companies?
RS6 C7 PERFORMANCE
Or
MRC Tuning

Do you think you are getting what they quoted you would get?

Don't bother with the racechip unit for a performance edition. I tried it on mine but had issues on full throttle. After sending the unit back and asking why it didn't work, the company I bought it off got this reply from racechips germany 'Racechip have informed us that the “Performance” model does have a different ECU map as standard which could explain why some issues were encountered. They are in the process of obtaining a Performance model to undertake additional testing in-house to find out the cause and the solution.'
So, they are selling a tuning box designed for the standard RS6 that is supposed to work on the 'Performance' without actually testing it works. Bunch of muppets!!
If you want more power, ignore tuning boxes and go for a full remap! I had my old C7 S6 remapped by APR with a dyno proven 550bhp & 550lbft.

No I'm.getting even more. I had it dynod back to back that day. My torque deltas alone was 200lb ft increase and 80whp peak gain. Honestly I had my doubts too but the dyno doesn't lie. Also after driving it you can tell how much more powerful it is.

I think I wouldn't trust any piggyback or chip or turning box, because it's bolocks, best for Rs6 is proper custom ecu remap, normally stage 1 is safe for all stock cars

That could be the quote of the week "dyno doesn't lie"
A dyno will display whatever the operator chooses it to & most operators will apply different tolerances & transmission losses so back to back even on different dyno's you'd find it virtually impossible to get even similar outputs.
Also, an uplift of 200lbsft from a remap alone on an S6 is borderline impossible & possibly an engine/transmission killing increase.
As others have said, i'd not touch a tuning box on any premium vehicle & would always choose an established tuner (brand specific) to provide a custom tune. For the S6 i'd be looking at MRC or Unit 20.

I'll be testing the Racechip Ultimate sometime soon and bench-marking the actual results rather than a bunch of hearsay. Depending on how it performs will depend on whether i keep it or not but as it's TUV approved, has a 30 day money back guarantee and easily removable which no remap is, it's the only tune of its type apart from MTM I considered.

Ok I should have phrases it differently and I knew what I was asking for writing that. But the guy who did it I trust so I believe the numbers. It's only 50-70lbs more than my revo tune. It feels way stronger though.

I think TUV can be passed also with ecu remap if it's done with professionals, and if you go to a dealer they won't track it unless you have engine problems you need to go to a tuner that did a ecu remap so they flash back to stock and then you go to a dealer, that's a procedure .
P.s you will install race chip to Rs6?
