Air Suspension

Hi - about to place an order for a new RS6 Performance and have the spec down pretty much except for Air vs DRC.
Have driven both and am happy that the Air meets my needs for kids and hounds in comfort and for Wife and I in Dynamic - however the big decider here will be the ability to manually raise the ride height with the Air Suspension. Work multi-storey is extremely steep and ive scraped my old Elise, my Westfield and the Mrs' Golf R.
If it does I'm minded to go Air, if not I could still be tempted to go DRC

Thoughts / confirmation of this capability on the RS6 PE please!

I had a non PE RS6 and I could raise the suspension. My S7 does the same. I guess a 2 min call to audi would confirm but I cant see why they would remove the option for the PE? Cool option, I used it in anger once in the RS over some rutted ground.

Probably a stupid question but is raising it only an option on air?

Yes.
You answering his question or agreeing its a stupid one?

The only way to raise a DRC car would be to fit some higher springs.

And to answer the original question, the PE air suspension works the same was as non PE so can be lifted.

Thanks for the helpful posts and the passive aggressive ones :)
My local Audi dealer is as au fair with the Rs6 as I am with having sexual intercourse with a supermodel.
We've both done the standard versions but have limited experience otherwise

There is not a great deal of difference between a normal RS6 and the Performance model of the same year in terms of function and features. The PE has more power and an overboost function (and the boost gauge changes colour when overboosting). Other than that it is pretty much a normal one with some optional extras included in the standard price (like 21 inch wheels, a colour optic pack, sports exhaust, privacy glass etc) and some exclusive options like the blue carbon trim, blue alcantara interior, different wheels etc.
There are a lot of differences between pre face-lift and face-lift, and also to a lesser extent the 2016 and 2017 model years as well. Quite often people quote face-lift differences when stating the Performance differences as some people traded from a pre to a performance and confuse many of the changes as being part of the Performance model when in fact all face lift cars have it.

Fook. Mike have you had a few beers and a big white line? The dude only asked if he could raise the suspension. Lol

Yes you can raise by MMI but you could also fit an aftermarket module to give you a greater degree of range to lift and lower the car.
