Locking wheel nut location etc?
Locking wheel nut location etc?
Hi I've only had my car 3 weeks or so and have booked it in to get detailed but i can't find the locking wheel nut anywhere. should it be under the boot floor or in the side panel? i don't seem to have a jack or any tools either!! could someone send me a pic of what should be there so i can go back to the dealer please.
Re: Locking wheel nut location etc?
Jack and tools are under the storage container that is under the false floor. Your locking wheel nut is probably there too. My locking wheel nut was missing too when I bought the car.
Re: Locking wheel nut location etc?
Thanks I've got nothing under there other than the tyre compressor. i can't find a photo online of what should be there to go back to my dealer with.
Re: Locking wheel nut location etc?

Re: Locking wheel nut location etc?
There is another tray under the one holding the compressor. Pull the edge nearest to the rear bumper and see if it comes out
Re: Locking wheel nut location etc?
Cheers i'll nip out and have a look and take a picture and post it up.
Re: Locking wheel nut location etc?
Take out the false floor, then take out the storage container.
Re: Locking wheel nut location etc?
As mike said, mines underneath the false floor as I had the same panic when changing the front tyres!

Found it thanks the manual isn't very clear and that tray dent look like its supposed to lift out at first look.
Re: Locking wheel nut location etc?
I have the same problem, i only have one false floor, the other toolbox under the carpet is glued there is no hatch to open, i guess all cars dont have the toolbox closest the back seats?
