To Swap or Not to Swap

Thoughts chaps please.....

Current Sh1tter is March 15 with 31k miles on it. LOVE IT
Want to get out of car before it hits 50kmiles (which will be in next 12-18mths) - concerned high miles will detract from someone buying it, despite solid Audi SH+ all bills
Want new RS when it makes an appearance, but want someone to take the hit on the first 12months of ownership

Any thoughts as to when we think the RS will materialise? If it's not until 2020, then I may chop the current RS in now for a PE?

Cheers Guys

Cheapest way has to be to hold yours and swap in for a new model in 2020 (or whenever) irrespective of the high mileage.

The depreciation cost of high mileage on your current car will not be as high as the cost of swapping to a PE. Bigger question is whether the new C8 will be what you want to trade up for but one that can't be answered at present as no images of what it will look like are out yet.

Would agree, keep and wait for the new generation. Or bin and get into a second hand s6 to lessen your depreciation curve while you wait.

The new one will look like a cross between the prologue concept and the new S6. If you wait until next month, the Frankfurt show should reveal something.

The look of arms and tech is moving soooo fast now.

I think the next A6 will be a game changer and when the RS comes even more so....hybrid power etc like new panny Turbo S.

Absolutely stunning car, that is the colour I wanted but they very rarely come up for sale so stumped for Sepang (but did look at Nardo).

Looks like the seller is a bit of a wheeler dealer though, not registered as a trader yet is only selling cars?

I'd buy it in a heartbeat but do your due diligence on the seller first, and chip away a few grand of course ;-)

Didn't notice he was a trader - will do some digging.... I wanted Riviera or Noggy; like you, I looked at Nardo, but plumped for Sepang - I do like the way it changes colour in different lights!
