No it doesn't and to be honest I'd sooner she just got the kids out and let the car go, however it's different to how you describe as they won't be able to drive anywhere as it cuts out straight away, they are also launching the new mobile app that enables me to remotely send a signal to the car to shut it down which will be a great thing.

E.g....nav button, car buttton, left arrow on steering wheel etc etc

Car will then start

Although not sore whether if car went to Audi for work..

1...warranty issues?

2...would the "ghost" be wiped off if Audi uploaded any software or plugged car in?

Oh it uses the OEM car buttons. Interesting idea.

I imagine its a hard wired device plumbed into existing wiring so not affected by OEM software updates.

No issues with Audi, I checked, they even recommended it in todays climate and thirst to pinch the c7 rs6. There's is no signs of it at all externally and uses oem button combinations of your choice, easy to change if you think it's compromised.

I paid a bit over the odds at £400 fitted at home, if you have a local place that can fit you will get for £350 I'm sure. Good value in my opinion.

Sounds similar to the Clifford's blackjax that will let them drive a few minutes before cutting out and the siren goes off and lights start flashing to hopefully make them run and be a safe distance away from you
Indeed. These two are the only two systems that mean you get to keep your car if you are car jacked, keys taken from house, keys taken from you by force, keys cloned etc. I got told off for mentioning Blackjax previously, it is 20 years old now pretty much!!

If its only £350, its a no brainer on anything from an S3 / Golf R upwards? Cheaper than the Clifford system. Most Audis now have blank buttons, or * buttons, which you can program yourself, so these would be good buttons to start with. As long as its reliable! - if it locks the owner out from driving the car you are f*cked, Audi Assist won't be able to bypass it!

Unless they want your car, in which case they'll threaten you until you give up the code.

You have completely missed the point of this system. You GIVE them the keys and let them take the car.

They aren't stupid! If they want the car, they'll have it, that may include forcing you to divulge where the tracker is. They are thugs and will use force. This system requires you to enter the code to start the car, so you still have the problem.
