Fantastic car, huge step up over the old model in my opinion. Incredible to drive... I had mine just over a year but an expanding family means I never got chance to use it so have gone for an RS6 as a fun daily instead. I miss it already though :-(
Your previous R8 looks awesome. I was so torn over the blue but finally decided on the Tango red. I think the black wheels really set off both colours.

Thanks mate, it was a lovely motor. They are seriously quick too...

I was the same with the colour actually, the blue is a crystal paint and looked awesome in certain lights but red really suits the R8 too so could've gone either way... I now have a Misano Red RS6 to satisfy my urge for red.

+1 on Fontain, spoke to Alex there some weeks back and came across very well-shame more dealers aren't like that.
New ride sounds awesome and a worthy replacement to the 6. I'm downsizing soon so it will be a 'lesser' car but lower outgoings which is the aim. I'll miss it though

Great choice on the R8, I drove the rs6 over last Sunday to collect my new vegas yellow plus and I am loving it! Fitting an Akrapovic to it next week.

Congratulations, post some pics. Did you bother with the sports exhaust if your getting an Akra? Would like to here the difference. I'm considering a capristo.

Yes have the sport pack but I am sure the Akra will let it sing nicely....

Got three kids hence buying an RS6 but it turns out they were only in it about 5 times since I bought it. The wife has a Q7 so I thought f**k it and ordered the R8!ImageImageImage
