Car due in for the first service 18,000 miles. Had the oil changed last year and supplied my own oil £135 saving from Audi.
What have you guys been paying for your servicing? Just seeing if it's worth shopping around?

I assume that is oil change only and not inspection service.

My 18000 service (first service the car had) was £640.

Yeah, just the fluids service. Not really sure what I paid for since I supplied the oil and that's all they changed.

My recent oil service plus I asked to have my brake fluid changed and I had a hunter alignment. I supplied oil and brake fluid. They supplied bits and pieces. All done for £277.19. I know it's the SQ5 but can't imagine this service is much different.

Just a quick question guys, what oil did you go for? Did you go with Castrol Edge Longlife III 5-30w or the Quantum Longlife 5-30w?
Im servicing my RS6 early as I dont want to go by the service indicator and end up doing around 16k miles on the same oil from the factory, Im sure it will do it but!!

As an aside, Opie oils (site
Sponsor) have always comes up the cheapest when I'm in the market for some. My last last order back in May was for our nursery hack Golf's first service. 4 litre bottle of Castrol Edge Titanium 5W-40 FST Fully Synthetic was only £22.46! Amazon wanted £40. Worth checking if you haven't done so already, to see if they have your oil cheap.
Looking online now they also have 10% off all orders at the moment with code "SERVICE2017".

This does make it the cheapest at present, the other one to look at is 123engineoil(?) on fleabay, part of Delticom who were doing 10l (2x5l) Castrol 5W30 for £72 delivered so you have a spare 1l in case of top ups.
Had my 38-40k service a while back, supplying my own oil but the following done;
Plugs
Oil & inspection service
ATF fluid / filter
MTF oil / filter
Pollen filter
Came to around £1K. Not bad, same price as an annual oil change on a Masser GT for comparison for those that think Audi servicing prices are steep. Comparatively speaking their quite reasonable.

Quick question re servicing - i thought i was up to speed with this but the car readout is confusing me.
Car new in Dec 15
Oil service Feb 17 10k miles (a few month late i know)
Car read out is now telling me an inspection service is due end of November. (im at 15k miles now)
For fixed servicing I always thought it was 1 year / 9k miles from the date of the last service alternating between oil and inspection services?
What im believe i am seeing now is the inspection service is set as two years from new rather than starting from the last service.
Two services within 9 months seems excessive to me but i might have screwed it up slightly by delaying the 1st service??
