Pan roof or no pan roof ?

I have had a list of must have's so to speak when looking at cars, one of the top ones if not the top has been a pan roof , I have been offered a few cars which ticked all the boxs but were less the pan roof so I opted to pass , now wondering if i should rethink the my list , my old discovery had one , but for the last two or so months of looking I have been running about in our old focus estate and that does not have one so do I really need it ?
So anyone regret not having a pan roof when the originally wanted one ?

Coming from having rather than not having......Pan roof was a requirement for me; deal breaker; brightens up the cabin massively; makes a huge difference..... only opened it once

I am with Iain. I don't open it often but love the airy feel it gives the car - as do passengers.
And you can always close the blind if you like it dark!

Waste of money. Got one and the blind stays shut - there are windows right round the car that let light into the cabin.

Pan roof all day long-as has been said it really brightens up the cabin area. I had black/black interior and no sunroof on my C6 and it was pretty dark in there particularly with privacy glass. Pan roof was a must have for me. Plus if you have kids they can watch the sky from the back through the roof which is great for their entertainment!

Wife commented earlier that, she thought it would get a little claustrophobic in the back with out the pan roof.

Ive not got it. Wasn't a deal breaker only thing I thought was that it would have been nice for the kid in the back.

Pan roof is one of the most desirable options on both the B8 and C7. Cars without are harder to move-on come resale, and they command less money.

I didn't have pan roof, wasn't bothered about the lack of it and it made no odds to re-sale.

Not an RS6 but my last 2 RS4's The B5 & the B7 both had can't remember ever using the that's why I did not spec it on my current B8 and if and when I go looking for a RS6 I will be trying to get one with out as I have read some nightmare stories on here but the rubbers ripping and Audi trying to blame the owners for cutting them with the power hose
