RS6 wheels suggestions

So i have a brand new Suzuka Gray RS6 Performance pictured below with the 21" rims assorted to the titanium pack.

My plan has been to keep these wheels for winter tires and buy a nice set of wheels for summer tires.

HRE is first to come to mind, and outside of any other consideration, a set of RS100M in assorted titanium would be my ideal choice. I like the "9 spoke" design and the fact that they dress the wheel well. I don't have carbon ceramics on my car, and the standard steel brake look a bit tiny with an open rim design.
I have however not made the mental journey of dropping 10K on a set of rims. Flow form designs max out at 20".

Vossen is an alternative but I like their designs less and the price is just as high.

BC Forged is an interesting alternative for reasonably priced forged rims, but none of their designs really wows me. I like the RS40 but they still look a bit plain, very close to the VMR cast wheels I had prior on my S5 Sportback.

Are there quality forged wheels I am overlooking ?

Theres a very good price set of wheels RS6Chris is selling, if they are still available - save you some ££ for a decent exhaust :)

Welcome to the site. HRE's were going to be my first choice too but prices have rocketed in recent years and £/$ doesn't help. Signature Wheels and Niche also have forged designs which are closer to BC Forged. I went BC Forged HS04s which I think do look good on the C7.

Hello,

Good timing! I logged in this evening to see if anyone had wheel recommendations. I also don't want to spend 10k on wheels and tires and am looking for other options.

I like some of the BC designs and see their page says the wheels are certified. Any knowledge on the validity of the claim?

Also, what size and offset are the wheels on the beautiful blue car?!

Thanks!

Do you mean TUV certified? I believe their facility is.

The wheels on my car are 21x10.5" with ET25 standard offset, aggressive but no issues with rubbing.

Cheers

Al

Did you go to 10.5" by choice or supply constraint ?

The Vossen importer in Switzerland tried to sell me on the notion of mounting 10.5" instead of the 9.5" standard fitment for 283/30, saying that it pulls the tires "nicely", but i am no fan of not letting tires work the way they were intended to.

BC Forged is a reputable manufacturer, Taiwan is a hub for rims manufacturing, but I don't know that their products are TüV certified. I think they would claim it if that were to be the case. Neither the corporate website nor the official swiss importer make that claim.

I chose to go 10.5 as I wanted them to fill the arches more and I run standard 285/30 tyres which fit fine.

The following blog link indicates they are certified, but does it matter if they are using the correct materials and manufacturing process. I can't fault the quality and I've had HRE's in the past which cost 3 times the price of these.

Thank you for the reply and info.

Certs... the BC page says JWL/VIA cert which is, I believe, Japan's TÜV equivalent.

Good deal on the size. Will 295s fit without rubbing on the 10.5 inch wheels? Is your car lowered?

285 is a good size for a 10.5inch and probsbly the most popular choice when going for aftermarket wheels on the C7.

IMHO, Vossen looks so out of place for RS6. Maybe for S4/5/6/7.

For RS, you need HRE or some thing similar.

BC Forged will make your RS look like a souped up A6 only.

Just me. No intention to disrespect anyone.

I think the opposite; I think Vossen look really good on the C7 and the HREs don't suit it as well.
