The New F90 M5!!

Only placing in here as the C7/8 RS6 will be it's natural adversary.
Details coming out thick & fast as the launch gets closer. EVO & i think it's Autocar have articles this month & i believe EVO have driven the new M5.
Got a teaser from BMW last night that added the 0-62 time to the other info released to the press over the last few days & they're stating 3.5secs
Highlights are it's (as most already assumed/knew) AWD but with 3 modes, that being AWD, AWD Sport which offers a heavy bias to the rear wheels & RWD which can only be selected with DSC fully off. The engine is a revision of the current F10, but with new turbos, injectors, cooling & no doubt other internal modifications that will output 600bhp, it's mated to an 8spd ZF transmission & the car overall is about 50kg lighter than the F10 M5, which is somewhat impressive given they've added AWD. Other highlights are the HUD will be 70% bigger (no idea why they felt the need to do that), it will of course have all the funky new tech as seen in the rest of the G30 range. I'll for sure be keen to see the post launch reviews, but it certainly looks like it will be an interesting motor & a huge leap forward from the F10 M5 which personally i thought was epic already.
Stolen from another source:
When Jumping Jack puts on his racing suit, the innovative M xDrive drivetrain system of the all-new BMW M5 allows complete control over driving dynamics and traction. That’s the punchline BMW is using to explain the all-new M xDrive system for the equally new F90 M5.
The M xDrive system enables the rear-biased set-up by only bringing the front wheels into play when the rear wheels aren’t able to transmit any more power to the road and additional tractive force is required. The driver can choose from five different configurations based on combinations of the DSC modes (DSC on, MDM, DSC off) and M xDrive modes (4WD, 4WD Sport, 2WD).
