Non res Cat back new, is between £1200 and £1500 if you look about.

Prefer to have full exhaust a friend of mine brought one for £1k of one of these forums

If you mean by "full system"", rather than Cat back - Full system is £3k+; Cat Back is £1200-£1500 - I think you will struggle to get a full system for £1k off the forum members; Cat back for £1k is realistic, though why not spend the extra few hundred and get a new one? - I've only seen 2 for sale on here and 1 Akra in the last 12months for a C7

Where did he bring it from?

A full exhaust system which is classified as downpipes and full catback is around £3000 if not more dependent on setup (resonated or with cats etc), downpipes alone can be over £1k. There's not a hope in hell you will get a full exhaust system for £1k.

I sold my Milltek catback system on this forum for £1250 + postage. I sold my downpipes on another forum for £800 + postage.

Does your friend have a C5 RS6 and was the exhaust very old? The only reason I can think of an RS6 full system selling for £1k.

I will dig through my mails as when I was looking I found it for around £1300 - ended up getting WREKKA's on here in the end as it had only done 50miles.
