In a simple term, how do you lower the C7 like the below picture?

Rough cost and procedure?

Any real negatives?

TIA

4 options as far as I can tell on a Dynamic car (shocks and springs)
H&r 20mm
H&r 40mm
KW adjustable springs
Air

I'd say this is air ride.
3k???

Handling - not sure, most say that on a decent road setting the air suspension is as compliant as other variants.
Never had it so can't comment from my perspective.

I think 40mm is a touch too low for me hence went with KW

I have H&R 20MM and does rub a bit when hitting a large dip at speed but handling is excellent. Springs only so not that expensive.

That rs4 in the photo above is on air ride. You can do the same. Plush are daddies when it comes to air ride in my option and even more so when it comes to the RS6 as they own one too. And they can fit the adjustable height set up like that rs4 has and still keep the DRC! Not sure if anyone else offers that.

But I'm guessing you don't want air ride so springs or coilovers are your option. You can go really low like Jack Falla with coilovers and Rob. Or springs for a little less drastic drop.

All of the above is assuming you have DRC of course. If you have Audi air then it all changes.

Assuming DRC:
Cost for air ride is about 3k as stated above.
H&R springs are about £200 ish for springs and about the same to fit.
KW are somewhere in the 700s for springs and the same to fit as H&R
coilovers are about 2.5k I think for the super low kit.

Thank for your input guys!

My car has the air suspension, rather than the damper/spring setup (don't think it's got springs anyway??....)

Have I read somewhere on this forum about a 'widget' (a brace?) you can attach to the air suspension that lowers/adjusts ride height?
May have got the above wrong.

Like most things 'RS' related, anything you change isn't often a cheap change, but would be nice to know options for when I'm feeling flush ;-)

Ah ignore all of the above then. Yes there is something like you suggested bit I can't recall the maker. Look for a thread about this previously. I know rtd was talking sbout it. If your car is pre facelift then it can be lowered using VCDS.

Thank you Mike, another good reason for sourcing a VCDS. Easy as 1-2-3?

almoRS- Nice motor!

Lengthier than the normal VCDS change but it seemed fairly straight forward.
