Is the C7 RS6 an 8 speed box? For some reason i thought it was 7 speed.

It's eight. It's a good gearbox, but it's not the best.

It doesn't come close to the PDK box I now have.

A ZF8 vs. PDK!? That's like comparing a self-lubing vagina to a manually lubed butt-hole.
No matter where you go, there you are.

Which is which? I like the manual lubing.

I'd be happy with either, and i'm not talking about the gearboxes.

So the same box I've got in the FFRR? Could have sworn the RS6 only had a 7sp, doh.

I didn't think the PDK in the Turbo S was any better than the M-DCT in the M5 or S-Tronic in the V10+. Was very good, but so are most of the current DCT offerings in higher end performance cars.

Oh & self lubing all the way, I'm getting lazy in my advancing years.
