I would guess the motor is far from standard as will have many internals strengthened to handle those levels of power. But like you say, still the same base engine & very impressive results.

Personally think Jon's never had 1000bhp. Think it was just the usual mapped car with catless Miltek. Packaging and heat is always going to be the issue with the car and it just didn't seem to have anything on it special enough to warranty another 300bhp on top of what everyone else has.

I'm pretty sure he had 1000hp capable turbos and some other supporting mods but the ICs stopped it making the 'marketing hype' power. All moot now, it was burned to the ground last year, I think. Sounded like an insurance job to me.

I mean I didn't hear any car sound like Jons in person, I know that with full Miltek it's going to sound like Olson Rs6, but in these days ppl afraid of full system
