I'm at school waiting for one of the kids assembly, so obviously can't watch the video (yet)
With regards to the Milltek sound on cold start, why can't it sound like that with the press of a button, only lasts for the first 20-30 seconds....
Something I've often thought about asking, or making comment on.

Isn't it just a higher idle speed whilst it's warming up?

No we had this discussion recently. It is the cold start cycle with secondary air injection. I thought it was higher idle but next time you get in the car and start it listen and watch the revs; the noise drops but the revs are still high.

Mines the same. Its not the secondary air injection really but the homogeneous split injection where you get 2 squirts before ignition TDC along with retarted timing. This causes the ignition to happen late with the exhaust valves open - hence the noise. The secondary air injection causes after burning of the rich exhaust gas to keep the environmentalists happy and warm the cats up even quicker.

Must say, it sounds much nicer when in flesh...
I took a video showing the same with a Tekart exhaust on my 997 turbo. Sounded ill...

They probably can't hear it or think the war is still going and the Spitfires are flying again

The poor woman next door loves F1, but covers her ears when I start it.

Awesome, that's why Miltek best exhaust for rs models, try cold start in a garage, I think you will be surprised, even with valves open in closed parking lot underground it's sound like a monster

Quick question-with a Milltek on a C7 do you still get the pops and crackles on shifts?
