Audi Sport TV advert RS6 spotted for sale

Now that I'm officially on the hunt (with confidence this time!) for a C7 RS I came across this ad:
http://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds/ ... ly/6855413
Properly out of my budget but looks amazing and a massive spec as well. And with only 200 miles on the clock as a promotion car it won't have had the arse ragged off it by motoring journos etc.

So whoever buys it will be the third owner and it's only dropped 12k from its pre discount list price? Sounds expensive.

8 months old, 2 owners?
At least 20k over priced surely...

I don't think Sepang works as a matte colour. The best thing about the colour is it's shine which is not there anymore.

Agreed. Saw a few matte R8s and they looked horrific.

I agree in relation to Sepang but not all colours. I have a Daytona matte and it looks the dogs !!! Super stealth

Price wise this does seem rather expensive even though it does have some nice spec. If it had been an Audi demo car I can't imagine the first buyer having to pay over the top for it?? Not sure why it would be put in storage? Unless it was just to try to make a lot of money from it

Rare, but not a lot more. Audi give ÂŁK off currently, almost without you asking, CarWow a lot more (Hatfield Audi, probably because they are a rather small stealership, then Brighton, Baths and Poole and others) and your local Audi will probably go a fair way to match them! Power door closure for ÂŁ620 (anyone any experience of them?) and what about engine cover for an extra ÂŁ540, with carbon, but a bit hard to see?
Sepang certainly looks better than matte nardo grey, silver or white, but for ÂŁ5765? Perhaps I am just jealous?

Rob and rtd have the power door closure. I think Rob said he doesn't use it much (although I assumed you would use it every time you closed the door?).
Carbon engine cover is subjective. Some like to show the engine other think any bling under the bonnet is a waste of time. I didn't get it as although I like a bit of carbon under the bonnet the OEM carbon cover has very little carbon on it. Aftermarket ones are nicer in my opinion.

I've got the power closure on my C6, it's nice but not essential (bit like TV function really) and you spend a lot of time telling passengers they don't need to slam the door (which they forget about and slam it anyway).

Hi Mike, any links to look at the after market "carbon" cover(s)?

I'm on the go at the moment so a bit tricky but if you look at Carbon Desingz or Neidfaktor website and look at the A6/S6/RS6 section you you see them. I think they both do a replace of the OEM version as well as a full carbon one.
I'll post a link when I get a minute later.

If I bought a second hand C7 with the carbon engine cover...first thing I'd do is sell it for pocket money and replace with plastic one.
Absolute waste of money IMO

Power door closure or soft close doors whatever it's called ultimately is a waste of time to be honest because nobody ever listens when you tell them not to slam the fing doors shut. Nice little gimmicky feature but really that's about it.
