I'm about to put a deposit on a 6... private sale, not one advertised.
Think it's a decent car, not ideal spec but low miles 1 owner.

64 plate
Merlin purple
21's
Sports exhaust (soon to be replaced)
3,700 miles
1 owner
Audi Warranty till December
Stage 1 map.
Alloy pack on exterior - to be swapped, wrapped or something!!!

Bad bits (for me)
Piano black interior not carbon
No pan roof
No hud

Does have
dynamic pack
Full all round camera (critical for the missis!!!)

I'm hoping Monday....
Gonna run it for a while stage 1 then see what's what.

I'm thinking now it's quite low spec. (always seem to look at bad points once I've decided on something! Lol)
But I figure there are advantages in other areas and I can certainly live without a few of the toys. It does have more spec than a dealer one I looked at which didn't even have rear camera and wasn't dynamic pack with std exhaust.

I guess if your not buying new it's always gonna be a bit of a trade off

Merlin with alu pack needs sorting straight away! And possibly the wheels too if no colour on them yet.
Plenty of carbon interiors on ebay, not cheap but can change if you don't get on with the black.

ACC would be a must for me if i did it again.

Do you know who did the map and how long ago?

Agreed Mike - it makes the car look too grown up for my tastes - if you get me!
ACC?
I'm not 100% on all the options tbh.

Its a JBS custom map.
They are a good outfit.

Got it - adaptive cruise. No idea - might have it!
Not done much research have I and didn't ask the owner tbh.. only about a few obvious ones like HUD and camera, which he Demo'd.

ACC is easy to spot, it has 2 round radars where the spot lights would normally go. People often think they are spot lights.

Ok, wheels with the black bits are the right option if you are converting to black optics.

And congrats by the way!

It's not got that then looking at the dealer pics I have of it
:-/ oh well.

21's were a must have for me and merlin or panther black.

The car is JBS owners own car - doesn't get used and I was at his place when he bought it new having the RS4 charger bearings replaced. they looked after my TTS Rs4 and mapped my 996 GT2.

I think he uses the S1 they are developing most of the time.

So one advantage is a decent 750hp deal in with the sale - should I want it. ( I do!)

It's had 2 sessions with gteq detailing / coating products so is in nice condition. As you'd expect for sub 4k miles.

4k miles is practically new!

It certainly felt like a brand new car when i sat in it. I couldn't see any marks / scratches or wear. Big positive for me as I can do 10k a year, which isn't a lot really but didn't want to start in a 30-40k miler...

Optics and stance essential first steps....

Don't get hung up on no sunroof, I was worried about this but don't miss it at all, if anything I prefer the darker cabin and the fact my little girl can't ask me to open it all the time as she did in my other cars!

HUD is good and I love it, had it in my M4 and had to have it on the RS6, but again if you've never had it you aren't going to miss it :)

I think these guys can fit ACC - http://hazzydayz.com (although it isn't listed)

I looked into to it when I was considering a PE at one of the Essex dealers. The stealer was nervous about it being done on site, as the system has a safety function and they weren't keen on the aftermarket route.

Ironic given the problems some here have had.

It's quite a lot of dismantling. I'd have to be very desperate to have that car to want to bolt something on.
