The next 'C8' A6 is ear-marked for early 2018 so I guess the RS6 will start appearing later this year ahead of a 2019 release. I haven't seen anything about engines for the RS, but there are new engines being developed from the SQ7 engine for the A6 range (electric turbos on a V6 and V8) so anyone's guess at this point.
