Removing paddles?

Post by rtd » Sat Dec 24, 2016 2:54 pm

Does anyone know if there is a special procedure in removing the OEM steering wheels paddles or do they just pull off with some force?

They'll be held in situ by a torx screw, so it's an airbag off job to gain access.

I did this on my RS4 to update the paddles an easy job just remember to disconnect the battery
i did have pictures but i seem to have lost them
the air bag is either screws or in my case it was clips to remove the bad
and then the surround contains the volume controls etc just pulls off to expose the screws and connector for the paddles
i will try and find the pictures but a trawl of the interweb should get you a result took me about 1 hr to change the paddles
