Is it panther black? I didn't see a colour listed. It is a very difficult colour to match - but you only notice a poor match in good sunlight. Look for the quality of the paintwork where it has been repaired.

My mate is a paint detailer he was gonna come with me to see it, but I really like it so if it's as clean as the guy is saying and I'll defiantly be keeping it for a good while I think I mite head down and see it

Personally I wouldn't touch a Cat D after been bitten in the past.
With a car of this value, the damage could be pretty substantial and it could still avoid being a Cat C. Even a tiny twist in the chassis could make it handle like a pig!

Wasn't there a black one that was on its roof recently?
Lot of money really given how they depreciate... how close on price is just a high mileage legit car?

It was a Daytona one.

To the OP. I'd be concerned about how much was really damaged on that car. All the front is changed to facelift on that car and the rear lights are FL so either they don't fit properly or the rear quarters were modified to fit FL lights either way I'm feeling this car is a Ringa. Just my opinion.

Oooh. Hadn't spotted the 2014 / facelift issue. It is either (1) Not a 2014 but instead a 2015 model (hence the facelift lights), or (2) a hodgepodge of bits.
I also noticed that there is a black optics kit fitted but this wasn't / isn't available on a black car. All sorts of questions raised on that car....

Cat-D, if it has been repaired correctly then there should be no problem. Personally I would l like to see a photo history of the damage as is, during repair and afterwards. And have a good conversation with the body
Shop. All good then why not go for it.

You can get black window surrounds on a black car if you go for the carbon pack, but this car doesn't have carbon. Also has body coloured/black mirror caps as well which was not available on a black car. All points to more having gone on than the seller knows/is saying.

Got black roof bars with the carbon pack too.

It's not cheap enough for a cat d. One of our customers has just bought a well looked after one for 53k so why would you pay 51 for a cat d. I'd want to be paying at least 10k less than the cheapest non cat d example.
