Who has dropped their Air suspended car via VCDS

Post by rtd » Thu Nov 03, 2016 9:50 pm

Interested to know who has done this, anyone encountered any problems or was it an issue free procedure?

Cool

How much did you drop it by and have you experienced any issues or problems with some of the radar controlled features on the car?

I know it isn't the cheap VCDS way, but much easier and much more controle with an additional controle unit.
http://www.active-sound.eu/en/audi/audi ... suspension
Plug and plug into the CAN bus, easy setup and controle over the ride height through wifi app, adjustable in any mode (comfort-auto-dynamic), works on the flow, showmode (all the way down), not limited to the stock +-17mm vcds lowering....

Just saying, not cheap but cheaper then the H&R module and more flexible.
I read some in the US even got it as low as 885€ shipped. Maybe groupbuys possible :).

Not really noticable but when I went to fit spacers on the front I noticed some wear marks on the inner wing.

Well honestly, i have been in contact with CETE and they grated me a groupbuy (a very decent price discount at 10 users) but i needed to fill in a groupbuy request on the site (don't see issues in that). Wanted to wait on news of 2 other forums, but no news of them yet (one of them recently got a forum sponsored seller suppling the US market now, but imho at very high price).
For me there is no hurry in it....if i know we had 10 buyers very soon, i might push further :).
