Hi
Is there any roofbars from Thule or any other manufacturer that fits the RS6.
The RS& do not have roof-racks like the A6 or allroad. Just lower "things" on the roof.
But i want to attach a ski-box for this winter. And im not sure how.

I've got the Thule roof bars and roof box - fits perfectly. If you keep the bars on without the roof box there is some wind noise but not that much.

I have also Thule...
This is the system that works with RS6 (same as A6 Avant):

Thanks guys.
I dont like that the box sits so high though.
There is a Norweigan company who mold their own glassfiber boxes with holes on the sides. So they integrate the wingbars INSIDE the roofbox to get it like 10 inch lower.
And it really do mot affect the loading capacity that much..
do you have any pictures of your ride with the box mounted?

Didn't mount it yet on the RS (will do in January), but here's a photo of it from my previous car...

I'd have a look at the thule wingbar edge - you won't get lower profile

I have them on my B7 RS4. The roofbox sits so low to the roof that I have to undo one side to be able to clean the middle of the roof - my lower arm won't fit in the gap between roof and box otherwise.

Packline is the box manufacturer, and the bars I have/had WingBar Edge.
I know because I have the lot for sale now my RS4 has sold. Both the bars and box are excellent!

Hi,
I have mounted a Skiguard roof box with Thule Wingbars in black going through the box. The box is slightly curved and therefore sits really low close to the roof.

I've got the wingbars from Thule- just be careful you get the right ones if you have a pan roof.

Rather than buying box and roof bars, Audi will hire both and fit should you need just for a holiday
