Hi

I recently bought a none-res cat-back system from Miltek for my C7.
Now i bought a full system (Turbo-back cat-less)

My question is:

How long time does it take for the workshop to change the downpipes and cat-replacement pipe (in the front)
Im driving the car to the workshop this afternoon. And they said it would be done today (If no problem occurs) but i didnt get a time.

What would be realistic for a experienced mechanic? 3 hours?

No, it's a pig of a job to do and is a minimum 5hrs job. If they've never done one before quite possibly 6hrs.

Edit.... just read this was posted this morning, how long did it take them?

I left the car at the workshop around 19:00 (7pm i think its called)
I called him after a couple of hours and asked about the progress.
It was a pain in the a** work he said. But he needed a few more hours.

Around midnight the car was done (Aproximetly 5 hours)

And the sound??? OH MY GOD.... All i can say!
The RS6 is one MEAN beast.

Does it not need a remap for the decats?

Yes, definitely otherwise it will be over fuelling big time (And reducing power, not increasing)

The EML should be on as well which will require a remap to remove.

A stage 2 map was planned (And where it is at right now)
I just drove home (A few miles) before turning the car over to the tuner this morning :)
