Hi

This will be my first post here.. And exscuse me on forehand for my bad english writing.
I was taking my new RS6 C7 (early 2014) to the petrol station.

A guy comes up to me and ask where i bought my bumpers.
I told hi they were audi RS6 stock/genuine from factory.

He told me that it cant be, since the RS6 was never sold with Bi-xenon headlight (Led as standard even before facelift)
I thought he didnt know what he was talking about. Untill i started googling it and asking around..

And like he said. I could not find pictures of the rs6 (Even 2013 version) with bi-xenon lights.
I was scared and confused. But i bought the car from a Audi dealership just days ago. So ofcourse i contacted them.

I gave them my numbers of the car and they told me that the car was actually delivered new with bi-xenon.
But LED is a option for 99,9% of the costumers who buy this car new.

I asked them to send me proof. And they sent me this...

Im still confused though.. Have you ever heard or seen a RS6 without led-beems before?

The car is sold new and used in Sweden..

The LED headlights were the standard option for the Dynamic Pack, so if the car doesn't have the dynamic pack, then it had the Xenons.

The best way to shove that accusation back where it came from would've been to open the bonnet! :biggrin3:

Haha thrue!
I didnt really take any offense from the accusation itself.
But i really dislike people with A6 who put RS stickers on it (Same with BMW M-series etc)
So that someone think im a person like that makes me angry :) lol....

But yeah true! He took a peak at the interior and belived me tho.

Ahh that makes sense!
What is the dynamic package exactly? (Dynamic steering, what else?)

The main difference is that the suspension is springs with DRC in place of the air suspension. The idea is that body roll should be reduced and the handling better, but some would say at the compromise of ride comfort.

Oh i see.
I ordered a H&R 20mm lowering kit that should be installed together with some other upgrades next week :D
But i honestly dont want it any stiffer then it already is in dynamic-mode. Im not taking it to the track anyways. I have a R8 for that :D

Have you checked if the car has DRC or air suspension? If you have xenons then likely you don't have dynamic pack which means you may not have DRC. The H&R springs will only work with DRC cars.

...... :/ good thing i didnt pay for them yet lol...
I do think i have the air-version. Since when i press "car" at the mid-consol i have a setting called LIFT in the top left corner i belive.
So how do i lower this one if not with springs?
